6. He's had it for several months. He says no one has said anything
about it or given him a hard time about it. Of course, even as easy as it is to rd wrds wth thr vwls rmvd, I imagine some Bush voters have a hard time with it and the message goes over their heads.

...they didn't issue it--no explanation.

(I think it has to do w/ our RW (feeble excuse for a) guv'nor). I may try again next time.

44. Thanks for the PG translation of ITMFA!
For months now I've been holding back from getting an ITMFA t-shirt, because I had no reasonable way to explain it to my kids. The last thing I need is a phone call from the middle school principal saying, "Do you know what your son just taught all the kids in the lunchroom to say?"

Heading over to get the shirt right now...

39. Doesn't Taylor Co-own a Majority Interest in a Russian Bank???
I seem to recall that there were broad conflicts of interests raised by his ownership of that bank and the US extension of privileges and funds that directly benefitted the bank.

Hope he continues to spend his personal millions on his campaign and still loses.

41. NC: A blue state temporarily trapped in a red state's body
I was there when Democrat John Edwards wiped out "Jesse Helms Junior" (Repukelican Wingnut Sen. Lauch Faircloth) in 1998 and when Democrat Mike Easley blew past Repuke Corporatist Richard Vinroot six years ago to take the Governor's office and became the second consecutive Democratic governor. More recently, Democrat Easley mopped the floor with Repuke Patrick Ballantine to win re-election by 13 points.

It's worth noting that Vinroot was actually a moderate Repuke, having defeated one of God's Own Wingnuts in the 2000 primary. Elizabeth Dole won what was essentially a personality contest in 2004, unfortunately giving NC two Repuke Senators. However, note that even Eastern NC Repuke Rep. Walter Jones was one of the first in his party to question Bush over his handling of the war.

Hissyspit, there are a NOT of people in NC who agree with your friend and recognize that Chucklenuts and his delusional followers are the problem. NC is loaded with democrats and independents who are not going to sit down, shut up or cower in fear. The reality-based community is a powerful force in NC!
