I think Bush needs to apoligize for the "comma" comment

His statement that one day, the Iraq war will just be a comma...

By making that statement he demeaned the monumental sacrifice of the troops. It proves that they are just pieces on a Stratego board to him and not human beings....

I can't remember, but did Rummy apologize for the 'you go with the army you have, not the army you want' comment awhile back? That was a horrible thing to say and it was directed at the troops.

I think Kerry and the Dems are blowing a HUGE opportunity with Kerry's gaff. They have a megaphone if they want it. Kerry can pretty much get on any TV station and say whatever he wants right now. The Imus thing was not enough. He should blast 'em on every station that'll have him on.

The Dems can run Iraq into the ground with the mic they are being handed. Take all the horrible things said and done by Bush and co regarding Iraq/terra and shred them with it. The Dems/Kerry seem ready, willing, and able to blow this chance to turn his verbal gaff into their own October surprise. Unlike during Kerry's election run, talking about Iraq/terra is not an advantage to Repubs right now.
