Except it ain't funny no more. It was a sick, disgusting, horrific joke on all of us, all the soldiers, all the Iraqis, all the world. And it has been botched, glaringly botched, utterly, irreparably botched.

The bush presidency is also a botched joke, as is his foreign policy, domestic policy, health care policy, veteran''s affairs policy, all his attempts at humor are botched, the things he thinks are funny make millions weep real tears of horror and grief.

bush's whole life has been one big botched joke, and he has turned our nation into a gigantic botched joke.

2. I was asked by my partner about the "kerry" flub
she had part of the story - the drive-by soundbite story version...

ennywhoo - I explained the "incident", gave her links to various stories/video clips etc.

After reading/watching it - she said "you're right, all the republicans have left for their campaigns are jokes, and they are bad jokes."

3. As Kerry pointed out
This weekend alone in Iraq there'll be at least 40 civilian deaths, about three times that in injuries, maybe 2 or 3 soldiers killed or injured, here stateside thousands of wounded and disabled veterans will be denied benefits or not given enough to help sustain them and not one news program for the past three days has mentioned any of this. Matter of fact, for the past three days there's been no mention of the candidates that are running or the issues. It's all about Kerry's comments and people commenting on the comments. Nothing else matters to the media.

5. And what a joke it is!
Don't forget. There's a whole population block of "new rich" piggies out there now who are laughing all the way to bank with Bushco. The last six years have been a smashing success for Machiavellian neocon war parasites. In the new Amerika, success means letting other people mass-murder and die for your portfolio.

War profiteering should be outlawed. The warpigs who've climbed to the top of the stye on the backs of the dead should pay restitution to the Iraqi people and the families of soldiers slaughtered on behalf of Bush syndicate stock holders.

There are pigs and then there are PIGS.

6. It's a nightmare come true.
I just hope we can start to wake up from it next Tuesday.
