What Are The Lib/Prog 527s Doing For The Filibuster?
I thought MoveOn, DFA, PFAW, NOW, etc., had all this money for The Big Battle to get the filibuster going.

Well, it's game on -- and does anybody know what they're doing in terms of phone banks, TV ads, lobbying, and an overall general push to get this filibuster locked in come Monday?

Any information should be spread, because if we need to put pressure on those groups to make sure they've got our backs, we need to do it NOW.

We've got, what, 100 hours or so? Every moment counts!

1. Moveon and PFAW have been
very active. Moveon did a blitz of letters to editors and urging calls. PFAW if you go to the site will send a free fax for you. Haven't seen any ads but then I don't watch tv much anyway, there could have been.

i get several emails a day from APN, CLG, MOP, PFAW and acronyms that I don't even know how I got on their list.

mostly petition drives & "call your senators". That's what's going to make it happen. Not so much by throwing alot of media money down the toilet, like those swiftboat fucks.
