Andy was a good man.

for a couple of hours over brunch. A few DUers got together to hang out and talk about our democracy. From what I remember, it was less of a substantive strategy meeting, it was more of an appreciation of Andy and his life/work.

The main thing that struck me about Andy was his gentleness. But I KNOW how strong he really was.

The one thing I do remember is how glad I was to have gone to that brunch that Sunday morning.

lives and has never left! We became good friends after that--talked almost every day.

I have great memories of meeting you, coffeenap and kamqute that day. It was also the last time I ever saw Andy. :(

I wish they'd given him more credence in the movie, he did a LOT more than what they showed. According to the film Harris was a one man ARMY.

She's such a sweetheart, we really pushed hard for her when we first came out, using a file where she GUTTED Ollie North, made him so mad he threw down the headphones and stormed out of her studio, always loved that mp3 file :)

you should make one about his death, that is a topic that has gotten little attention and still requires justice. i think you could make something breathtaking for that just as you did with the tribute to him. anyway, thank you for making this. going back to crying all day on my stupid couch.

Andy wouldn't want to be responsible for you wasting the day in sorrow. We all NEED you doing as much as you can.

I wish I could expose those who treated Andy with such vile hatred, sickness in their souls, but I have a book project that has some Hollywood interest that I've been working on for five years and the money is getting low so I have to go that route..

Maybe when I get ahead, but it would also take some investigation, I think WIll Pitt was going to go after them, let some folks know in congress that he knew.. as a writer I think HE could do a bang up job on this subject, and I'd love to see it, a hard hitting expose.

Won't heal us, but provide SOME closure I suppose. Nothing will replace Andy, but he's still all around us, and we can see the results of his work :)

Hey. Thank you for encouraging me to continue the fight. How fortunate time and space is no longer a burden! WE MISS YOU HERE!

As someone who had the privilege of meeting you, I can testify to what a friendly, wonderful, kind and compassionate person you were and the sincere and profound passion and conviction you had in your beliefs. You were a person prepared to passionately stand up for your beliefs regardless of the personal consequences involved because you wanted to make both the United States and the world a better place. Your commitment, your idealism and your sense of honesty and integrity will never be forgotten. Thank you for doing your bit to make this world a better place. May your legacy and your hopes for what the United States could be come true in the not so distant future.

You left us too soon but yet in your relatively young age, you accomplished much more than many of us do in our entire lives. Thank you Andy and I hope to see you in the next world.
