Congrats to Jones and to all gay people who are finally fighting
back. The gay community is very powerful and they are showing just how powerful they are by exposing hypocrites who are anti-gay and anti-gay marriage. Gay people are been maligned by the likes of people like Haggard, Robertson and Falwell for quite some time. Get up, stand up for your rights "friends of Dorothy."

Said by a straight woman.

1. Sad state of christianity today
Why would the prostitute lie? Why would the preacher tell the truth?

4. If we could get all GLBT to quit shopping for a few days, we could
really flex some muscle.

Imagine, one week without shopping, without flying, renting cars or any of the other 1,000's of ways we prop up an economy that wants us to sit on the sidelines and be content with whatever crumbs they feel like sweeping off the table to us.

There's some debate about the numbers of GLBT and exactly how much "consumer dollars" we control - but I can put it very simply - if the majority of America pays the bills of all the companies that they shop at - then GLBT folks provide the profit. Think about that for a minute.

What if we simply withheld the profit? Especially if it were the big shopping week - Thanksgiving, when most retail companies are counting on to make their profit margins for the entire year. Wall Street - on it's knees in front of the GLBT community, begging us to come back (and bring our dollars!)

If they think it's ok to withhold parts of America from us, and treat us as second class citizens - maybe we should withhold part of America from them - the capitalist part......

5. Yes, a lot of gay people are flush and spend big. This is a great
idea.

I usually don't support "outing" gay people, but if they are closeted and PRETEND to be straight and use anti-gay talk. I say out EVERY one of them.
