Polls: Democrats pull ahead in 2 new districts, NY-20, FL-22, Sweeney and Shaw crashing and burning

Apparently reports that Sweeney attacked his wife hit the newspapers, combined with him showing up drunk at a frat party two months ago, and the combination of the two has dragged him down from a 19 point lead to a 3 point deficit according to Siena's updated poll:

Siena Poll:
(R) Sweeney: 43%
(D) Gillibrand 46%

Previous Siena Poll:
(R) Sweeney: 53%
(D) Gillibrand: 39%

He can't count on undecideds swinging to him since undecideds are breaking for the challenger this year by margins of 2:1 and higher.

Second poll, in Florida 22nd district
Zogby:
(R) Claw Shaw: 40%
(D) Klein: 49%

Now, I'm naturally skeptical of Zogby, I personally think it's the worst polling outfit in the company, but that's usually because they show races that are tighter than they're supposed to be, but they usually don't show races breaking for one candidate when another candidate is actually winning. Usually. And three other polls have Shaw up, two of them partisan Democratic polls. But the trend shows the momentum blowing strongly toward the Democrat. Kerry carried this seat 52%-48%. It isn't hard to imagine Shaw losing, even though he's a long-standing congressman. Let's hope. If the GOP loses both of these seats there's little hope for them retaining the House.

I love that we are looking good for this seat. Wish we'd made a stronger run at Weldon in District 15 (Melbourne, Brevard County, etc)
