We should say thank you to Bill Clinton
He campaigned ernestly all over the country, wherever his services we requested, barnstroming for Democrats, with the vigor as when he was running for office.

Thank You Mr. President.

6. Howard Dean.
He insisted on a 50-state strategy when everyone thought he was nuts. Looks like he was right.

9. Thank you Mr. President
I would also like to thank our other Democratic Presidents, Gore and Kerry.
Gore stood up to the lies over the last couple of years on the environment.
Kerry threw himself in front of the bus last week, His "gaff"/"scandal" or what ever the right wing wants to call it did one big thing. It kept Iraq in the news when the Republican candidates did not want it there. I think it had a bigger effect than anyone will admit.

Our Democratic Leaders did come through this time.
