So does the Rummy announcement trump a Democratic win in the news cycle?
Stay tuned.
I bet it does.
The bastards aren't going to give us our day in the sun.
Instead, they are going to concentrate on Bush giving the Democrats an olive branch.
They got the first punch in.
Damn it!

5. But who is going to claim it?
THAT'S what the story is.
This wouldn't have happened if Dems didn't sweep through the country, I know that.

6. Think of it as salt in the wound
Enjoy their suffering, just like they enjoyed sending our soldiers to their death in Iraq.

9. Um...The Rummy announcement *is* a Dem victory
It has been a pretty remarkable thing to observe around here...so many people who have no idea how to be happy, how to celebrate, how to recognize victory when they have it. I'm not calling anyone out, because I'm the same way. But we're all so used to geting screwed that we see screws in every corner.

Rummy didn't quit because they messed up the mustard in the Pentagon mess. This is part and parcel with the victory story from yesterday.

TRY to enjoy it.

13. No- his resignation highlights the Dem win, and- just as importantly-
the Republicans' new status as LOSERS.

They've lost, and are now scrambling to make concessions. They are losers.

16. Actually I truly feel we will have another press conference soon
about Cheney's health.
I can't see Cheney surviving this election.
This is typical for them, don't you think?
Keep your head spinning so you don't have time to focus on any one thing too long.

18. I think we've seen
that there is far less chance of Scooter being pardoned now than people had believed. The OVP is being blamed for the sins of the administration.
