This lonely canuck wants to wish you all THE VERY BEST. YOU DID IT! And now the hard part begins--because we all are painfully aware of the damage done by Bushco.

but, for the first time in 6 years--I feel optimistic. Strange feeling--and deliciously lovely.

Anyways.... WELL DONE!

Part of my faith in the democratic process was restored last night.

Were glued to the election results. And, for my hubby to do so--is no small thing. He HATES American politics.

It comes down to this--American citizens have rejected the Bush doctrine. And they didn't just whisper it....they shouted it out, loud and clear. Rumsfeld quit--and there will be more.....it will take the republicans at least a generation to gain legitimacy again.
