But seriously, folks. I wonder if we'll see more trolls, or less trolls as the reality of the situation sinks in.

Does some of their obnoxiousness arise from the fact that they've felt unassailable in their ideological fortress for so long, or is it a part of what they are deep inside? Many, many Republicans have found their way here and sought a different point of view and came to the light side, but can Freepers find the light, or have the been wandering around blind for so long it's practically an impossibility?

I ask because I've seen several threads addressed to them--hell, wrote one myself last night. That was, however, pretty much a waste of time, since very few threads survived more than a couple minutes on the Latest page before vanishing into history.
