2. Conservatism's meaning has changed.
A long time ago, conservative was a good thing : cautious, thrifty, polite. But today, conservatism has a connotation of mass murderer, racist, big spender, nationalist, empire builder, selfish jerks.

3. True. Because subhumans such as Limbaugh
call themselves conservatives. I could definitely go with Howard Dean's conservativism (he calls himself a conservative).

Hmmm Perhaps we are better than "them"?
"They" have tried (and succeeded to some degree) to Turn Liberal into a dirty word. We could do the same thing with Conservative. I believe however it would be better to differentiate between "Neo-Cons" and true Conservatives. I may not agree with their policy but they want the same as we do. a better country.
