Im just wondering, cuz him having subpeona power AND an overwhelming mandate from the American public to back it up has got to have caused at least one member across the aisle to have pee'd themselves a little already.

So.....who do you think it will be, and how long will it take? :-)

6. Forgive my ignorance, but why is Rangel pissed?
He's a Democrat, too, if we're referring to the same person. Question asked without any intention of snark, 'kay?

3. I Think It'll Go Like This:
He's not gonna screw around. He'll go right to the chimp, and cheney will soon follow. There could even be some federal judges in hot water. He's got 'em by the balls - He's the boss now.

4. Heard an interesting stat on NPR today. Something like 400
subpoenas issued during the Clinton presidency.

Exactly zero issued (so far) during the squatter in chiefs stay in the White House.

15. Hee hee--if my repuke friend in Mississippi counts, it's already happened!
As we shared the joy (!) on the phone today, he said, "And now, thanks to people like you, JOHN CONYERS will head a committee!"

And I said, "Hey, YEAH!!!!!!!!"

And he said, "Oh, c'mon, what's he done for you?"

And I said, "For starters, he was one of a HANDFUL of congresspersons that were left who actually still represented ME. And he's got this really detailed list of impeachment points, see, and it's all painstakingly researched and ready to go... and he's been investigating the vote frauds of 2004 in great detail... and on and on and on!"

And he... moved on to another subject.

HA!

16. They are going to pay for ignoring all his requests
And he should really go after Stevens from Kansas. I wish he could find something on him. As many times as he has asked for something to be investigated. Look at the way he hid reports, or held reports and wouldn't release them. I hope he goes after him first.
