The New Democratic Agenda Must Include The Following:

1) Restore Habeus Corpus.
2) Terminate the illegal wiretapping program.
3) Outlaw torture, rendition, and secret CIA prisons.
4) Ban lobbyists, pass Public Funding for Elections.
5) Ban all voting machines with no paper trails, and all machines with over a .5% failure rate.
6) Establish a bi-partisan Federal Department of Elections to oversee all national and state elections.
7) Rollback all tax cuts for the rich.
8) Bump the Social Security tax cap up to $120k to save SS.
9) Establish National Healthcare.
10) Subpoena ... everything.

Until the signing statements and insane executive orders stop, not much will change. The Congress no longer passes laws - it passes "suggestions".

I'm all for it, but the Democratic Party is no enemy of lobbyists, and is still way more corporate-friendly than I'd like, though you'd think after the way corporate America screwed them the past three elections, they'd start to fight back.

with when going up against the FDA.
