Obama is an idiot

Sen. Obama criticizes filibuster tactic
Associated Press

WASHINGTON - To more effectively oppose Supreme Court nominees in the future, Democrats need to convince the public "their values are at stake" rather than use stalling tactics to try to thwart the president, said a senator who opposes Samuel Alito's confirmation.

...and there should be Congressional oversight of the Executive, and there should be separation of Church and State, and the Press should keep us honest, and many other lovely fairy tales.

Someone should slap that Obama idiot around until he understands the opposition he is up against. The opposition he's up against eats goodie-two-shoes like him for breakfast every day.

4. Where do you disagree with Obama?
The Democrats should have done a better job a long time ago of defining what they believed in; and what they were willing to fight for, tooth and nail. Illegal wiretaps, lying to the public over crucial public policy, too much executive power...these are things that would have sold the filibuster to the public.

Who knew that Bush would have turned out to be such a crook? But, the good news is that there are plenty of opportunities for the Dems to take and run with to support their filibuster, and Obama supports that filibuster.

5. He is supporting the filibuster
All he is saying is that it shouldn't come to that. We need to win "hearts and minds" before a filibuster is necessary. I see absolutely nothing wrong with that statement or that idea.

7. Couldn't agree more, kynn!
Why is it that people think that the minority is the one that needs to make the overtures to the majority? This is America, simply being in the majority does not make you ruler of all and above such things as making offers and compromises. The minority has little enough power already. Why squander it trying to make nice.

I can't decide which story story it's more like. The bully on the playground who steals lunch money, so a meek little kid brings him his lunch money and a Twinkie...in the hopes that maybe the bully will skip a day of beating him. Or the medieval setup of kings and vassals, where the lowly peasants offer themselves up to be the hated king's food taster.

It's really quite feudal. And it's a shame Obama is thinking like this.

And I don't believe I've said this before but....

WELCOME TO DU KYNN!!!!!
