Is it just me, or is anyone else still in post election shock?
I woke up this morning and it took a minute before I realizedthat the Dems were in control of Congress. After 12 years of having a neocon Congress inflicted on us and 6 disasterous years of neocon policies at EVERY level of government, I'm still in a strange sort of state with the Democratic sweep of Congress, the Senate and the firing (FINALLY!) of Donald Rumsfeld. Is it still shock? I'm almost afraid to be happy about it.

Anyone else feel that way?

1. don't worry
The assault on the Democrats will begin soon, and full force. Right now the Pugs are smiling false smiles and baiting the traps.

2. I'm with ya.
It's like a dream.... What a difference a day makes! It's almost surreal. But...I'm still skeptical something bad will happen to save their asses, but boot ours! Too many years of tinfoil hat stuff. It's hard to take it off!

3. A little...
This has all been so weird over the last 48 hours. I never expected us to make this much progress.

4. I feel odd today
Dazed, happy, exhausted, easily irritated, distracted.

Who knew winning could be like this?

11. Wow, those are some of my symptoms too.
There's also the grief of these past six years--covered by all the rage at these traitorous neocons--that is finally coming out. Or does that sound nuts? I'm actually sad.

But I'm also sad because we're not going for impeachment. I feel let down.

15. Do Not Be Sad.
One must consider 2008. Remember that swing voters put us where we are. I do not think that they want the same crap that Bill Clinton went through. Nancy is one smart woman--she knows what she is doing.

Besides, Dubya is his own worst enemy--he will voluntarily trip over his own two feet without the help of Democrats.

7. A little bit.
But I'm in TX and very little changed here. Same gov, senator, lt gov, AG,....it's hard to look at the national picture and then my state (county is very dem) and reconcile the two.
I'm glad the rest of the country got it right though. I expect TX to lean more and more dem over the next 4 years (god willing).

16. Same here -- not completely happy due to state issues
While I'm proud of voters nationally, I think the voters here in Florida must be big fat idiots. Two of the constitutional ammendents that passed here will, I'm afraid, screw my family so bad financially that I worry about us keeping our home.

14. I remember that kind of tired!
I used to work phone banks on campaigns and I remember the adrenaline-laced exhaustion afterwards. THank you for being out there and working so hard,

10. Yes....
It really took a while to sink in for me. And I wasn't able to really believe it until today, especially after the 2000 and 2004 election fraud.

It's wonderful to feel optimistic again!
