IMPEACHMENT HAIKU CONTEST

The best, most haikus for one side or the either will determine if Congress Impeaches the Bush Administration or not.

For your Subject, just put a Yeah or a Nay and then the body of your message should be the poem.


I'll start off with Nay:

Two thirds vote needed
For the Senate to convict
Not gonna happen

On the conviction thing, if the case has been put forth, guilty is a posssiblity since impeachment hearings are done in the light of day. Even if the Senate refuses to convict, the obligation of investigating and filing articles of impeachment still exists. You don't give up on prosecuting a criminal case because a jury might not find the accused guilty.

26. Ah, yes, but in the Japanese counting system
an "n" at the end of a syllable counts as a separate syllable, and a long vowel sound counts as 2 syllables. So take that for what it's worth :P
