Who else is having a post-election party tonight?
I'm about to put a bigass lamb loin that's marinated with mint garlic, ginger, clove and spices for hours into the oven, char it at 475 and then roast it at 375 until it says "baa" (about two hours). I've got two kinds of wine, a tiramisu made with some nice brandy and stovetop espresso, sweet potato fries and pesto penne rigate. It's a weekend to celebrate!

5. Margaritas all around
we're going out for Mexican food and margaritas. And our Marine son, an ardent liberal home for the weekend, is joining us. You bet we're celebrating. We had our hearts broken in 2000 when Gore won the popular vote, and lost the election. Then, in 2004, we had our barely healed hearts broken again. I really thought Kerry would win.
Now, we have a victory. A major victory.
Hell, yeah. We're celebrating.
And so should all of you. Open up a bottle of wine. Eat something that is NOT healthy. Call an ex-boyfriend/ex-girlfriend. Whatever.
Just celebrate. Celebrate. Celebrate.

6. Though I can't celebrate with food
(Damned ulcer!! Flaring up around the holidays!!)

I'm nevertheless celebrating every time I catch a TV program or read something online that confirms this dream of the Dems having swept the board.

Though I must say, my lower back is starting to hurt, from all the times I've turned my butt toward the TV and mooned J.D. Hayworth every time he's on the local news, ROTFL!!!
