A Du Angel I want to give recognition to

This year has not been a good year for me some of you know why. Last month I had to put my pet to sleep (Princess) which just about sent me over the edge.

Well along comes a DU member that I have have had no contact with except for postings here on DU. He went above and beyond the call of duty for what he did for me and, his act of kindness came at a time that I needed it most.

If you see this member through your wanderings here, know that he has a heart of gold.

a haven from the world. There are so many here that are angels, but here are three, that I hold a special place for, that have already gotten their wings

I'm so glad, and agree that OwnedByFerrets is an angel for doing that. There are so many truly wonderful people here. I sympathize about having to put your Princess to sleep, we love our pet family members so much, and losing one can be one of the most painful losses we can endure. I truly hope that things get better for you. I hope that your heart of gold benefactor is richly reward for the kindness they showed you. Blessings to you both.:toast:

6. i had to put my 15 year old dog to sleep in may

it was one of the worst things i've had to do and i know your pain. my little guy was sick, but what killed him was a brown recluse spider. the condolences of my friends and family helped me get through--it's so nice when strangers reach out.
i hope you get through your tough times. an abandoned puppy helped my husband and i get through. good luck and bless your pet.
