Amazing how these guys study the writings of Freepers. Perhaps they should, I don't know, GET A JOB??

They're all "pinging" their guy, because "no freeper would ever do this", but so far no response! :spray:

Edited on Mon Nov-13-06 11:39 PM by Freedom_from_Chains
Well you can expect the justifications to be flowing over there, like say, oh, there really were WMD's in Iraq. A lot of them over there are still hung up on that one while the rest of the country moved on.

5. Well, we can do both: Hold a job AND post about freeper terrorists
Unlike the Freeper terrorist who didn't have a job, was still living with his mom, and spent his time making terrorist threads instead of looking for work.

6. They keep pinging the terrorist? The agents analyzing his computer must be busy.
Documenting who contacted him and when. Lots of volunteers to become a "person of interest" and the subject of a federal investigation.

Ping away, flying monkeys. Ping for all you're worth.

15. How about this gem.
Yup, and it's my not-so-humble opinion this style of threading is superior to the inline-threading a lot of sites feature.

100% correct. The FR format is definitely superior.

This delusional individual obviously has never been to another message board! FR is the worst message board i have seen in a coon's age. Clearly out of date, and way behind the times.

26. Damn it, I like their format
But then I usually read from a text-only browser (lynx: because javascript and inline media are for weenies).

It's better for the discussions over there, anyways, which usually end up splintering into cliques. It's a lot easier to follow a discussion using their logical/linked threading than in the inline threading here -- and the ability to "reply to" person X or person Y or both with a given post is pretty innovative. It's also, IMO, a design mistake to break posts into a "must explicitly click 'view all'" state after X replies like DU does. But the search capabilities here are so much better, and the forum/topic arrangement is a lot more logical. With a little more work, the FR "tags" strategy could compensate for the deficiency, but they're not there yet. It's a tossup.

I still think slashdot had it right: support both styles of threading and let users choose. Have a good and consistent topic/forum zoo, but allow tagging in addition. Slashdot also supports rec'ing or zapping individual comments in addition to topics, which is a Good Thing (and cuts out a lot of work for moderators). So, in the contest between DU and FR's forum style, I have to say Slashdot wins hands down...

25. "Tolerance is the virtue of believing in nothing?" What?
Is that a Coulter dim-witticism quote?

Entry Word: tolerance
Function: noun
Text: the capacity to endure what is difficult or disagreeable without complaining <showed great tolerance in dealing with the angry and tired toddler's tantrums>

Synonyms: broad-mindedness, open-mindedness, lenience, acceptance, forbearance, charity, patience

Uh, that's a bad thing? And nothing about believing in nothing. Maybe peggybac believes in the opposite:

Antonym: intolerance

Synonyms: bigotry, prejudice, narrow-mindedness, fanaticism, narrowness, bias, xenophobia, chauvinism, racism

Who wins peggybac with the terrorist friends?

Anyone wonder if Hanging Chad is getting water boarded right now?

Patriot Action Plan

Posted on 11/08/2006 9:23:55 PM PST by samadams2000

1)Hug your conservative wife and conservative children. Jettison all liberal or Rino leaning children. 2) Buy more firearms and ammunition 3) Buy bullion ( Silver rounds appear to be best value) 4) Turn off your TV. Ingest no media other than FR. 5) Rediscover yourself, not in a washed out hippie looking at your life's devastation way, but review your accomplishments. You are a valued member of FR society. 6) Obtain Crusade outfit/ Store 7) Buy a new American Flag 8) Read a book on the American revolution. Adams or Angle in the Whilwind. 9) Go to Barnes and Noble and take out all the subscription cards to Time and Newsweek and mail them in for processing. It costs them $4 to process each piece of litter. 10) Await The Call. Somebody important must step up and make it.
