3. Possible but unlikely
We CANNOT give up and need to keep calling the senators on the fence about confirmation. Don't let them think they've won. It's not over yet.

20. That's right. Only need a simple Majority tomorrow. He's IN! And
now we gotta listen to bushit brag tomorrow night. I gonna :puke:
What's this world gonna be like for my children and Grandchildren?

Will we be in a constant world war with a dictator acting as a president? I wonder if one of my granddaughters will be a statistic on the list of women who died from an abortion? Will my Grandsons have their name carved in a memorial. Hell...I don't think I even want to be here! But I guess I'll be in one of bush's internment camps so I won't even have a choice.

8. Do we know if Repub Senators are getting pressure from voters?
I know some Repub voters who've called and emailed their Senators because they're vehemently anti-Alito. But who knows what, if any, pressure they've gotten overall.

18. I've been calling my Repub senators, as have my friends.
Only problem is that my senators are Bond and Talent. Both support Alito and both have been informed by a hundred people in my community that I know of that they will not receive their votes this year or in 2008.

10. We'd need every Dem
and 3 or 4 Republicans, depending on Snowe's vote.

If our Dems would stand for Democrats, we could put some pressure on Republicans in Democratic states, like Gordon Smith. Unfortunately, I don't see that happening.

14. This isn't Nadar's fault

It is a lazy American public.

And, the tyrants that feed off them....

This is what America has sown.
