Pissing money down the drain.
Howard Dean, don't call or write to me again for money.

Over the years I have wasted thousands of dollars donating to the Democratic Party. No more. Today was the last straw.

A Party that doesn't stand behind its principles when it could have easily done so is no Party... it's a joke.

From now on I'm not going to deprive myself a dinner with my wife or a gift to my son in favor of a donation to a group of losers that accomplishes absolutely nothing.

1. I want my money to only go to actual Democrats.
If the DNC can't do that I'm cancelling my Democracy Bond and that money is going to go to progressive advocacy groups that will only support real progressive democratic candidates. Fuck this nonsense.

2. Don't blame Howard Dean...
he's fighting a bloody battle within our own ranks.
My money will go only to DFA or directly to DFA approved candidates.
I don't trust the others at the DNC.

3. Actually, Howard Dean supported the filibuster wholeheartedly...
I think Reid is the one who let us down on this one...

But I agree, our leadership needs to be smacked upside the head... I'm directing contributions directly to campaigns I support...

5. As I stated in another thread... I got a call from the DNC
10 minutes ago. I explained that I was pissed. Also, no more money - at least for now. They let us down. The caller understood. I think he agreed with everything I said.
