One of the tactics the New Right has is secrecy. Here is a quote from Jerry Falwell stressing just that during the 2000 Election.
"Our crowd needs to get into the battle, keep their mouths shut and help this man (Bush) win." New York Times, August 3, 2000.
This is a first in electoral politics. Never before has a force that tried to participate in the Democratic Process been so secretive. It is this secrecy which has brought RW'ers who are so far out of the mainstream that they don't even know what it is and it has brought them into positions of power or being able to be first in line to tell politicians what to do.
Take the Traditional Values Coalition for example, this group is a hate group according to the Southern Poverty Law Center. Yet, it's founder, Lou Sheldon has the numbers of Tom DeLay and George W. Bush on speed dial.
This has got to stop, we DON'T need a revolution, we need the Right Wing to be EXPOSED. And that's why I'm going to make a Wiki which will do just that. And, it will not be hindered by a NPOV policy, so no wikiality required.
I wanted to tell my fellow DU'ers first, it will be viewable by the general public, but not editable by them, so if you want help participate in the project, then please tell me.
