please do one thing. For all those senators who voted against cloture, send them a thank you e-mail, phone call, or any other form of communication. Let them know that you will continue to support them. Let them know how proud of them you are.
For those that voted FOR cloture, let them know your disappointment, especially if they are YOUR representative. Tell them how this makes you feel, and that it will be harder to support them (if at all).
Please do this. My two senators (here in MI) did a fine job tonight, and so did many others, and I want them to know how proud of them we are.
...but it's still not over.
