I think I have an important observation
All the activity DU and other internet sites have been involved in, all the phone calls, letter, faxes, and emails will be looked upon next time by the "traitors" as a big YAWN.

If we really want something good to come out of this - we must punish these traitors. Our faxes, phone calls, etc., will be ignored even more next time unless these assholes feel a consequence. I wish DU could start an organized campaign to punish these freaks. Cut off all donations except for targeted progressives with backbone - no mealy mouths! The big organizations will notice a big drop off in donations and will know why. They will know why because anytime you get solicited you angrily tell them why they aren't getting a red cent. If it's in the mail, send the thing back with a nasty note mentioning all their failures and why they needn't waist their time.

Use your ever dwindling bankroll to target new blood, and old depend-ables. I think we've seen enough by now to know who is on our side and who is NOT!

1. Good way to make your position known ...
... and you might even make a photocopy of donation cheques you write to OTHER Dems who you are now supporting, and send it to the offending parties - with a note saying, "This could have been YOUR donation, but it's not, and here's WHY ..."

2. That is a good idea. Kerry fooled us again with the Anybody But Bush
and stole our efforts for nothing just as Reid did. New Minority Leader. How to go about it?

7. Just how did Kerry fool you?
You appear to be a bright guy. Tell me, how did he fool you, not once, but twice?

3. They won't need money soon
They've got control of the, ahem, voting machines. It was proven today the direction the country is heading is one-way only, no turning around.

5. I AGREE!
I agree.

The DemocraticUnderground should immediately CEASE donations to blanket-groups and start contributing the donations it recieves to party members that have been voted on BY the site, to determine which US Democratic members of government TRULY have the backing of the people!

We should focus on our CORE. On TRUE Democrats.

Leave the cowardous snakes in the dust!

8. There is an element of truth in that
The old saying "all bark and no bite"

But punishing Dems seems counter-productive if it means Repubs get in

9. It will take more than plugging in new candidates -
these people have conservative constituencies. We need to change the political wind. Get behind Dean, this is what he is trying to do.
