SURREAL: on CSPAN 2, Grover Norquist did stand up comedy with joke about rigged voting machines
it must have been filmed some time before this or another election because he said he went to a warehouse and looked at them before the vote, and the GOP had already won--but the Democrats made a respectable showing. I'm going to see if I can find the clip. It was a dinner or something called "the funniest man in DC" with various political hacks trying to be funny.

1. I watched part of that a few weeks ago

But I missed Norquist's "routine." I hope this isn't a spoiler, but Grover won the damn thing.

One of our Alabama Republican Congressmen, Spencer Bachus (Bauchus?), won it recently. I think it was last year, but I'm not sure.

And he's about as funny as a Leave It To Beaver rerun you've seen 67 times.

2. What was the event - does video on the net exist? - Does C-span
sell video of their shows?

That would be a useful clip in the fight for election reform.

11. The joke
paraphrase of Grover Norquist at the Funniest Celebrity in DC Contest a couple of months ago:

Ken Mehlman showed me the voting machines. It turns out that we won. The Democrats came close, though. Let's give them a round of applause for their effort.

12. And Denis Kuchinich did ventriloquism with a dummy! He was with
someone else doing ventriloquism with a dummy, too. Maybe it was Ken Mehlman?
