1. What a cheap piece of macaca
It doesn't even have a digital tuner, just a cheap analog tuner and, no doubt, with very little sensitivity.

5. You could get better at Radio smack or
better yet call that outfit that advertises on Art Bell's (and that other guy's) show.

I'm sure our troops have better but I wouldn't doubt that somebody donated some of these to a few troops somewhere so that the claim has some legitimacy. Typical Republican dishonesty.

12. I'll stay with the Grundig/eTon brands. It doesn't seem
like a bad emergency radio, just not what I would buy.

7. Maybe sPewsMix could explain why the troops use $2 chinese crap radios?
I'll bet they sent a few over there in "care packages"
so they could make the claim that they are "used by the troops".

Just like the SwiftBoat Liars claimed they "served with Kerry"
on the grounds that they were in the same COUNTRY while in uniform.

9. You realize that if there's another Katrina and we don't have this radio,
we will be blamed for whatever happens to us?

"You should have gotten the damn radio! Lazy liberals, living off the government, expecting someone to come rescue you!"

I'd almost be tempted to get it, just to deliberately use it for listening to progressive radio.

But naah. Having to suffer through NewsMax is not worth it.
