Bush Admin Officials-Fearing Investigations-Choose To Leave Rather Than Face 2 yrs Of Hell
Edited on Wed Dec-06-06 05:28 PM by kpete
Administration Officials Brace for Departures
From the latest Evans-Novak Political Report:

"Important Bush Administration officials are ready to leave the government rather than undergo two years of hell from Democratic committee chairmen in Congress. Leading the exodus are officials of the Environmental Protection Agency (EPA), fearing investigation by two chairmen, Representatives Henry Waxman (D-CA) and John Dingell (D-MI)."

20. Excuse me
But you seem to call everyone that demands responsibility in the Bush admin some kind of "Fantasizer". Why is that?

I've seen that response in TWO threads now. Favorite word?

21. I call it as I see it. Wow! TWO threads. That's one more than ONE thread.
I didn't know that anybody was keeping track of how many times I was using a particular word. There could be a government job for you somewhere. Here is another reality check: it is very possible to make the Bush administration responsible for its actions without impeachment. Both the Clinton impeachment and the pending Nixon impeachment resulted from ongoing investigations. There are no investigations going on now and despite all of the talk of justice and responsibility we are going to find the Republicans dragging their feet and running out the clock, and those 2 years will go by fast.

You know, I went back and looked and I never used the actual word "Fantasizer". Details, details, details.

23. Negative, Eyores, etc
people are sick of naysayers and hope dashers passing along their anal views here.

And also those that don't have the courtesy of sharing their profiles as well, those that do not appear to be the same ones who call for lots and lots of investigations.

BUT NO ACTION.

Govt Job? I'm a kick ass activist, a true democrat who's laid it all on the line, to upwards of a half a million BUCKS and my house. Hooked up with every presidential candidate in the last election, filmed Conyers in the Basement of the Capitol Building flying all the way from Hawaii, and COUNTLESS other works.

THAT is someone who BELIEVES, and THAT is the attitude that's been prevalent here for the 6 years I have inhabited this place.

Not negative bullshit.

4. He GREAT! I can't wait for the list! did it never occur to these AH's
that they can still be called before Congress, even IF they resign? In fact, sticking with the ship MIGHT keep some friends to help them out. It they quit, they've lost all support.

11. True.
I think fatigue and an increasingly toxic atmosphere are the cause for the up-coming wave of resignations.
