FOX News is having a very bad time with election results...
They've always been supportive of Republicans. However, the Democratic victory in November has thrown them over the edge, it seems. The latest incident has their morning talking heads personally attacking an MSNBC White House reporter, David Gregory. They did not like the way he questioned their former comrade, Tony Snow, who is now the White House Spokesman.

Snow unfairly attacked Gregory for asking a perfectly fair question about the ISG report. Gregory quoted from the report itself and Tony Snow accused him of being "partisan". Snow never answered the question.

So the brilliant talking heads on the FOX morning show decided to take Gregory to task. They seem to be in a revengeful mode. From my perspective, it appears they thought they had more influence than they really had. How could the Repubs lose if they were supported by FOX? Something is not right with the world...

1. Yeah, how dare David Gregory be so daring as to question.
He's not only an American citizen but a journalist. It's only his responsibility to do exactly that.

2. They lost power
Not so long ago they could get a Dan Rather type fired. Now they can't even stir up an uproar.

3. As an aside, Snow looked terrible
We are watching an administration implode

For the past six years, fourteen if you include the nonesense they poured on Clinton, they have helped divide our country

It is now time for payback

11. I noticed that Tony looked peaked.
Actually, it looked like he had been crying. Maybe he had.

4. Faux News. How low can they go?
They have to be close to China now. They are sleazy propagandists. They don't report the news, they read propaganda.

David Gregory is doing his job, in an ethical and moral manner. And that's exactly why the likes of Snow job and Faux don't like him and are attacking him. He represents everything they're not.

5. Fox news ratings are following the election trend.
Screw em. They deserve the scorn of America for carrying so much water for the incompetents in Washington.

I haven't watched Faux News in years, and won't be starting any time soon.

I'd much rather watch Olbermann. :loveya:

6. Fox News is the laughingstock of news business.
Not that the others (CNN, MSNBC, ABC, etc.) are much better, but Fox News is more and more marginalized all the time. I think the others tried to treat them like a serious news outlet in the beginning. Now they just laugh at them.

Sure Fox News has viewers but they are like snake-oil salesmen, spewing untruths and mesmerizing the stupid and uninformed.

18. Must hold to Decorum facade
Rove used the Godfather Reagan model for Bush. Have Bush appear above it all while behind the scenes henchman work every illegal and unethical manner of manipulation. Or as in the case of FOX, act like you are an unbiased reputable news source while pys-ops and propaganda are the underpinning theme.

Must maintain decorum to keep fascist order indeed.

8. I saw the snippet on Olbermann last night.
They referred to David Gregory as "Dick" Gregory. Talk about childish.

10. You're right. FoxNews has a lot less influence than it thinks
It preaches to the choir and everyone else laughs. The people who watch FoxNews don't want to be informed. They want to have their right wing fantasies validated.

FoxNews, Ann Coulter, Rush Limbaugh, Michelle Malkin all operate the same way, speak to the same audience and haven't change a single mind.

12. Fox News is run by Roger Ailes, one of the original rethuglican dirty tricksters.
Ailes came from the same nest of vipers that spawned Lee Atwater and KKKarl Rove. As the world now witnesses, these snakes don't give a whit for truth, decency or fairness. For them, the means ALWAYS justify the ends. And NEVER FORGET, it was Fox News that started shouting bush* won Florida when they knew he didn't. In fact, it was a bush* first cousin that started spouting the lie.

Bring Them Home!

15. Chuck Scarborough, of all people
Kicked their ASS last night, and went after Tony Snow too, a personal friend. There was some moron on flogging another book about the evil NY Times and how it is just as bad as Fox and the NY Post, and Scarborough went OFF. Verrrrry entertaining.

17. They are having an attitude adjustment for sure.
What a pathetic spot that Fox News and George W. Bush find themselves in now. The entire world laughs at them and knows them to be cheesy propagandists at best, and sleazy liars at worst.

Laugh at Fox today.
