3. The Republicans Will Lead the Impeachment Parade

The Chimperor WANTS to be kicked out - he's not liking the job anymore, but wants to die with his boots on. \

The Brave Congressional Dems want to keep him in office, so they can have something very far to the Right to triangulate off of.

It's up to the Rethugs to take him out - I expect they will oblige.

Once the Rethugs roll, the Dems will have to go along, or look insane.

If he is impeached for lying us into a war; then can he be tried for murder??? Treason under the "Levying War Against the US" clause in the constitution??

there may be some state attorney generals who would weigh in at that point...

5. The biggest and only real threat to Bush is his own party.

I have said it for years....

and yes there may come a day when some prominent repug congressional leaders take a walk over to the white house and have a veryfrank conversation with bush. That will fail and there will be other closed door private talks....

Then at some point, they present him with some very damaging evidence that leaves him no choice.
