Sometimes I get kinda screamy when discussing bush and his war on earth and his neo con pals who are making so much money right now from oil and blood. And sometimes I get scolded for being too impatient. When I say we should've stormed the white house yesterday, I get offered a chill pill, which I obviously need.
I realize fully that the process in D.C. is glacially swift, and that you time things with a calender, not a stop watch, but really now, America is going down the toilet and whatever needs to be done to stop the descent should've been done years ago. If we decided to start repairing the fuck ups right now, today, it would still take many years.
Am I wrong to suggest that we are in a severe crisis right now as a nation, and that swift, and bold decisions should be made before it's way too late?
Am I freaking out unnecessarily? Should I expect things to improve in a matter of weeks, months, years, or decades? Shall I learn to be more patient as a patriotic concerned citizen?
Am I indeed imagining a crisis where there is none? I have to ask, because sometimes I doubt my own sanity lately.
