5. I read a book and looked over the reports this morning

I gave up believing any thing this man has said years ago. Give me a brake. We use to much oil? Carter said this 30 years ago and every thing he did the Rep. voted that out. The man has a tin ear, he likes to hear him self talk.

7. I always go to sleep early and last night was no exception...

...I woke up in the middle of the night, though, and turned on the TV for a moment. The cable channels were replaying their post-SOTU "analysis": Chris Matthews was saying he thought "the president did a good job making his case" on MSNBC, David Gergen was saying it was "a fine speech" on CNN, and J.C. Wattas was saying "the American PeopleTM trust this president more than they trust the Democrat Congress {sic}" on whatever channel he was blithering on. So, after gathering that the liberal media was greeting Bush's rhetoric with the usual dose of scepticism :eyes:, I turned the TV off and went back to sleep.
