2. They love those guns so much, you'd think they'd jump at the chance...
to go to Iraq and use one. :eyes:

11. Best guess..........celebrate, because we can buy any type gun
and as many as anyone would want. I have no idea why "they" think this is a "Neat T". Check out this site and decide for yourself. Nice assortment of "T's". :sarcasm:

12. Would you like to
give me the definition of an "assault weapon"? Or are you just dropping rhetoric?

16. Right, she'd need at least a D-cup ..
size to put any effective assault weapons on a t-shirt. AW's always have attached bayonets.

14. Actually, those look like different models of civilian pistols...
Edited on Thu Dec-14-06 02:05 PM by benEzra
I see a bunch of Model 1911's (originally manufactured by Colt, and one of the most popular handguns in the United States), as well as some other makes, and some revolvers. (My wife really, really wants a 1911.)

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/M1911

The first shirt is sick, but the second one is cool, IMHO. Not everybody on DU fits the Rovian stereotype...

22. The first shirt is pretty bad,
but I kinda like the second one.

I googled it, and here's a bigger version. Just a bunch of regular handguns, not "assault weapons".

25. Five 1911s?
Some diversity. If they wanted real diversity they should have a pepperbox derringer, a Gyrojet, a Wildey pistol and one of those ancient 8-barrel handguns. The inclusion of the Mark 23 and especially the P210 is cool though.

Dang, I must've missed the memo...

28. Eh, nothing too creative there.
These right-wingers always seem to be ripping off each other's graphics and concepts. I could swear I've seen a dozen different versions of that "US Military World Tour" shirt.

Many liberals feel strongly about the gun issue as well.

9. true, but they want people to THINK its a conservative issue
if they keep yelling "Democrats want to take your guns away!" long and loud enough, some people believe them.

19. I support the right of responsible firearm ownership. But I think rightwingers fetishize guns
much more than other folks. I suspect it has something to do with their inadequacy and religious brainwashing issues around sex, personally.

I just thought it was encouraging owning various different types of guns.

But, I guess I could see how you see that as well.

23. My son came home with a shirt with a George Bush Senior pic
It had a bubble over Bush Senior's head that said, "I should have pulled out."

After I quit laughing, I asked if anyone had challenged him about his shirt, this being a very red town, but he said no. (He's way too big to challenge.)
