just saw on NBC news - his poor ratings on Iraq squarely at the responsibility of the media not reporting all of that good news.....she is just plain insane! Then again, to stay married to the Shrub she must have serious issues...

Which might be true IF you live in one of the few places which is completely Shia, completely Sunni, or completely Kurdish. And even then, those neighborhoods or cities are blocked off... little "green zones" which, at night, are not safe anyway.

If they are so safe and normal there, why doesn't she send the twins over to spend time walking the streets?

You only have that on Bush's authority.

For six years since seizing power after losing to Al Gore, Bush has made only two kinds of statements:

Those that are lies; and
Those that are just wrong.

So when he says Laura and Barney are in his corner, don't count on it.

I expect Barney to defect to our side any day. He's far and away the most charming and intelligent member of the family.
