It's their job! Let Brothers Pat and Jerry and Rev. Highspeed Haggard, go lay down with the lions and calm the savage beast! The fundie preachers helped Bush start the war that "Broke" Iraq...now let them go fix it! If the BushCo faithful have all the so called "FAITH," that we taxpayers have been paying for, in these "Faith Based" leaps of faith of the pResident's, let's put that government funded FAITH to some good use and go forth ASAP and kick some ass!1!1!!1!!!1!!111!

The drill instructors could rehab the wayward fundie Brother Teddy Haggard, better than Gawd herself could!

I say send the ones that were willing from day one to praise Brother Bush's supposedly, "Gawd Sanctioned" invasion of Iraq under false pretenses.

They're always harping about "GLORY" let them go earn some glory on the same battlefields as the ones our kids are placed on, by God's chosen Cheerleader!

3. This is what Ann Coulter suggested on September 12, 2001
We should invade their countries, kill their leaders and convert them to Christianity. - http://anncoulter.com/columns/2001/091301.htm

How does it feel, knowing that you agree with Ann Coulter?

4. Preachers like the ones on TV are too lazy to work an 8 to 5 job...
but the Army starts at 04:30 and stops at 04:30, the next day, every day, 7 days a week...the rest of the time, is then your own free time, to meditate. You get paid 24 hours a day!1!1!1111!!11!

Plus...they teach you "New Skills" that replace your "Old Skills!"

9. New guidelines allow troops with traumatic stress disorders to redeploy
WASHINGTON — Troops with bipolar and psychotic disorders cannot deploy into Iraq or Afghanistan but those recovering from traumatic stress disorders still can, under new defense guidelines released this week.

Defense health officials said the new guidance is designed to clarify existing policy, not to replace any current practices dealing with deploying servicemembers with mental health issues.

“What we found was that had some questions about exactly what the regulations were,” said Terry Jones, spokesman for Dr. William Winkenwerder, assistant secretary of defense for health affairs. “These are much more specific guidelines to help them evaluate troops.”

...

Earlier this month, Sens. Barbara Boxer, D-Calif., Barack Obama, D-Ill., and Kit Bond, R-Mo., sent a letter to Winkenwerder blasting reports that soldiers stationed at Fort Carson, Colo., were discouraged from seeking treatment for PTSD.

The senators asked the Pentagon to investigate whether mental health officials were denied access to soldiers or pressured into approving their deployment. They also noted the stigma still associated with PTSD “must be changed if we hope to ensure the mental health of our country’s brave servicemembers.”

The DoD recently reported something like a 104% recruitment rate for Army and Marines. Why, then, does the DoD discourage soldiers w/PTSD from seeking treatment if our recruitment rate is so high? It's not like there's a shortage of "boots," right?

11. Bond and Bush are mental cases if there ever were such things.
It's criminal what they are putting some of these soldiers through. And Kit Bond is one of Bush's main cheerleaders in the senate.

Two and three tours and extended tours in combat, in less than five years time, IS INSANITY on the part of the people sending those kids in there like that.

I think the DoD is just flat out lying about the re-up rates, like Bush and friends lie about EVERYTHING else they speak of.
