DU is quoted in Kristen Breitweiser's book...

This was probably brought up when the book was first published earlier this year ("Wake-Up Call: The Political Education of a 9/11 Widow"), but if it got posted I missed it.

In Chapter 7, she discusses a nasty editorial directed against the Jersey Girls that appeared in the Wall Street Journal in 2004. She goes on to note, "And the story of what happened next is laid out beautifully in a column that I found on a blog while surfing the Internet: 'Top 10 Conservative Idiots-How Dumb Can You Get?". She then goes on to quote the entire piece that appeared in the Top 10 on May 17, 2004. Link is here:

Sadly, though, she didn't identify DU by name, which I wish she had done if she was going to quote extensively from it. It's a great book, by the way - I highly recommend it if you got a book store gift card this year.

Well written, intelligent and moving. It burns me up that ABC can make a movie "based" on that neo-Warren 9/11 Commission, but this hasn't been. Yet.

9. 200 of the widows' 300 questions got no response

from the 9/11 Commission.

Their protests that former White House staffer Philip Zelikow had
too many conflicts of interest to be a proper Executive Director
were ignored. Dr. Zelikow had been a member of the transition
team and actually appeared as a witness before the Commission!

Everybody in Congress needs to know this. Everybody in Congress
needs to explain to us exactly why the widows don't deserve answers
to their quesions.

A great movie about the widows is "9/11: Press for Truth."
All based on mainstream research.
