What is this garbage bush rants about "history will tell " ?
Most of use with a brain knew damn well this Iraq attack was the wrong thing to do . Bush keeps on saying that history will tell , who gives a damn about history when many will not be hear to read about this let alone care about it . Each day is enough history and we have the long history of past wars and we have learned nothing from this so what the hell is bush talking about ? I hate this fool and the ignorence in this country .

1. That is becuse the American people are the most
unhistorically aware people around. That is why we refuse to learn from it

2. I thought Bush once said
that he didn't care what history thought of him or his Presidency, because "we'll all be dead".

4. He was actually right...for once...but the way he said it was chilling.
Or, I guess what I mean is that his seeming 'hopefulness' was really disturbing.

3. History is written about events that happened five years ago.
Even more recent, sometimes. I care about history. I've professed to it. Don't dis historians because the idiot president thinks that we'll let him off the hook. We won't.

5. The scary possibility is that 'we' may be the last group to hold the hook.
And 'we' probably won't ever even know if that's true. :eyes:

6. He's been told so many times by his fawning courtiers that
he did a brilliant thing and that history will bear it out that he can't believe he effed up royally. History will tell, but not the story he wants to hear.
