Will you attend a peace vigil tomorrow?
I will attend one in Saratoga Springs, NY. They are happening all over America, please try to find one. I believe it is important to show solidarity.

3. I heard about it from a local group.
If you google "peace vigil, New Year's Day", you will find some. I hadn't tried Move On yet, but I usually get email if they are sponsoring/supporting something.

This seems to be impromptu, after the news of the 3000th American death.

googled the American Friends Service Committee for someone over in the Indiana forum. They're doing something. I'm sure there are others too, like Iraq Veterans Against the War and Goldstar Families for Peace.
