Bush talks of "Sacrifice", but it is only the People who are doing the "Sacrificing"

Oil Companies are reporting record profits.

The Wealthy are enjoying their tax cuts.

Halliburton is making a profit off this war.

Where is THEIR sacrifice?

While we, the People, are seeing our brothers, sisters, sons, and daughters dying in a war which has an always changing reason as to why we are even there in the first place, and we are being asked to sacrifice some MORE?

Why?

and as a member of Aristocracy one can not expect him or his family members to sacrifice more than they have! They have done the awful business of running the Country, a rough, thankless task.

The little perks and backdoor deals and kickbacks are needed to keep the Ruling class happy and productive.

4. and this is the way it always has been

...since the dawn of time. I recently read about the McCarthy Communist hearings back in the 50s. Of course the people screaming the loudest about the "American way of life" being in danger were the extremely wealthy.
