3. The article pretty much sums it up
...I live in the area(Renton) and I will say that I will call my local school district and without being threatening or anything, will tell them that they damn well better have a solid plan in place IF anything ever happened at my kids school.
I'd prefer not to reveal too much of why I know, but let's just say, I hear scanners and am privy to information before others are for the most part.

5. I don't disagree with you GO, but...
I do think at this point I was extremely surprised that there was as much confusion as there was.
Parents going from one school to another, back and forth a couple times. The school being in lockdown, then students being released even when the shooter was still at large. The shooter was not in custody until around 9:20-9:30am.
At the schooln itself, teachers were teeling students to go to the lunch room. Once there they were turned to another area of the school.
Seriously, with a shooter at large, moving kids around should NOT be happeneing.
