if nancy pelosi's celebration of a street to be named in her honor, which includes , isn't, and i quote here, "imperial of nancy peolosi".

she has the raw nerve to ask if isn't imperial of nancy pelosi to invite several popular bands to play in the festivities which celebrate her becoming speaker of the house by naming a street in her honor .... and the greenspan dollar bill padded to the high heavens republican ass of andrea mitchell says nothing of the real imperial highnessess that are running our country and have taken over our democracy?!

i tell you, my lungs lost all of their oxygen and i am still trying to put oxygen back into them!

2. The whore on NPR this morning kept interrupting a Democrat Congressman to ask why the Republicans
are being forced out of the process, when that whore never once mentioned it in the past six years when Democrats were routinely, completely locked out of legislation.

5. NPR = Nothing but Propaganda for Republicans
I heard the story you're referring to, and wondered the
same thing.

But look on the bright side: At least Steve Inskeep didn't
do the interview. If he had, the sneer coming through the
radio would have blinded you.

These republicans have virtually invented keeping the opposition party out of the process for the last 6 years.

IMPERIAL?!? It's a freaking street! We name streets after country music singers for crying out loud.

There's a Billy "Crash" Craddock bridge in Greensboro, NC. How "imperial" of Mr. Craddock...

6. Nancy didn't decide to name a street after herself,
Baltimore decided to name the street after her (Nancy D'Alesandro Pelosi Via) in the neighborhood she grew up in. I hope someone set A. Bitchell straight on that. I'm glad I missed it though because I wouldn't know whether to laugh at the stupidity or scream at it.

15. i love the renaming of a. mithcell to,
A. B itchell! Thanks for the laugh.

and also thanks for the laugh in, "I'm glad I missed it though because I wouldn't know whether to laugh at the stupidity or scream at it."

and yes, wasn't that stupid of a. bitchell to call pelosi IMPERIAL for the bands called in, either by her or whatever commission, to celebrate her ascent to the speakership of the house and the naming of the Nancy D'Alesandro Pelosi Via.

Maybe Bitchell wants a street named after her, or after her $$$$$ green spanned husband.

9. Imperial
is opening our mail without a warrant, not having a friggin street named after you.

Geez, my great aunt had a street named after her in her home town and she wasn't even in Congress. So what? IT's a small honor. It's not like Nancy's declaring war on anyone fercrissake. :eyes:

:wtf:

And in my town there's a whole damn neighborhood with all the streets named for...ready for this?
Famous golfers.

:hi:

I do get muddled sometimes...just remembered a pic of a big damn grey boat with CONDILEEZZA RICE painted on it. But an oil tanker outranks a street on the 'Imperial' scale, methinks...:grr:

20. I think the proper response should have been:
"I'm sorry. . .but I only interview and respond to questions from real journalists. But speaking of "imperial," how very prom queen-like of you to bring along a Mr. Microphone so we can watch you doing kareoke. It was nice meeting you - now if you'll excuse me, there are some reporters over there that I need to speak with. . .:
