Is there a special reason that Nancy Pelosi keeps kissing men
and they keep kissing her back?

When men nominated men as Speaker or Majority Leader did they kiss each other?

are are happy for her?

Some people are warm huggy types. Doesn't bother me at all.

17. I've been in & out of politics for 25 years and woman pols have always kissed at meetings
It's a different kind of business. I've recieved a kiss on the cheek from a female colleague in a political setting many times. It's just a social norm & not worth paying attention to.

23. I'm not saying it's not done, just it's not proper behavior

It's like business casual, for some reason both have just been made to seem acceptable.

40. If it IS done in that "business," then it IS proper behavior
I don't slap my colleagues' asses when we do a great job on a project, because that isn't done in my line of work. But, it is done in football, this it's proper behavior there.

21. The Democrats have a majority for the first time in 12 years
Don't mind if I forget this "transgression."

Anyway, if the worst thing that we're worried about right now is Nancy Pelosi hugging, I'd say we're doing pretty damn well.

I can't tell you how many times I have had to reach out to quickly grab a woman's hand to shake hands with them when they were trying to hug me in a business situation.

30. I would say she works a lot on social bonds with people
to get stuff done. So it works for her. Plus I am sure a lot of men initiate it and it takes more work to push them away then to go with the flow. I am sure she does not let it cloud her judgment about a person.
