It has been too long and there have been too many let downs. We have learned to be wary and cautious. There are only so many times you can have your heart beaten to a pulp due to disappointment.

3. I know why I feel better today. It's because I've been

watching and listening to DEMOCRATS all day. Bernie Sanders said on Washington Journal this morning that he would never in a million years support Bush's* sending more troops to Iraq. Then I watched the Black Causus' mock swearing in. That was great! They even had singers. Charlie Rangel and John Conyers were called "Mr. Chairman". Even Barack Obama showed up to show his support.

I've been watching the Senate this afternoon. The Dems made some great speaches. The Republicans are talking now, so I switched to the House.

what they have done is so greedy, and so ugly, that i had quietly convinced myself they would never relinquish power voluntarily. i still am not sure i trust it. the history of deception and illegality and underhandedness is to strong.
