New Postal law allows Chimpy to read our mail
A new postal law allows the feds to peak thru our mail--without a warrant--in "emergency situations."

4. OK, so what will Congress do about this?
from the link:

The President asserted his new authority when he signed a postal reform bill into law on Dec. 20. Bush then issued a "signing statement" that declared his right to open people's mail under emergency conditions.

That claim is contrary to existing law and contradicted the bill he had just signed, say experts who have reviewed it.

Bush's move came during the winter congressional recess and a year after his secret domestic electronic eavesdropping program was first revealed. It caught Capitol Hill by surprise.

"Despite the President's statement that he may be able to circumvent a basic privacy protection, the new postal law continues to prohibit the government from snooping into people's mail without a warrant," said Rep. Henry Waxman (D-Calif.), the incoming House Government Reform Committee chairman, who co-sponsored the bill.

* signed himself this authority. So who made him king?

5. Who is Waxman kidding...a warrant???
Does Henry Waxman actually think that a warrant would stop Junior from invading our privacy?

Oh please.

The Constitution hasn't had an effect on the little bastard, why would a little thing like a warrant have an impact?

6. I think Bush should be put in jail--at Guantanamo. See how he
likes torture and murder. Every time he does something (anything), I think, "OK, this has gone too far." But he just keeps making up things as he goes along. If I believed in reincarnation, I'd think he was reincarnated from Hitler.
