In my cube farm just now: Repubs talking about which DEM they'd vote for
Edited on Thu Jan-04-07 04:09 PM by iconoclastic cat
in 2008! I kid you not. Basic gist of the conversation:

Repub #1: "Yeah, the best the Republicans can do is McCain. I think Edwards is looking pretty good."

Repub #2: "As long as it's not Hillary!"

Me: "What about Obama?"

Repub #3: "You mean Osama?"

Me: "Really, who's going to fall for that kind of crap."

Repub #3: "Only idiots who won't remember to register."

BWAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!

They're done. Buh-bye.

4. This is the third time in a week
that I've heard some mention of a republican saying they'd vote for Edwards? Whatsup with that?

Yes, he does speak for "the people" but if they think he's not to the left of Hillary then they're all more stupid and misinformed than I ever believed.

And my fundie sister is one of them!

5. Well, he's a southern male and that prolly comforts them
If it makes him and his message more tolerable to them, then I'm all for it.

Maybe I should rethink this guy...
