Jesus taught that his followers are to treat others as they would treat themselves
The GOP have made quite the show of claiming to be the party of Jesus. Let us take them at their word and treat them as they treated us when they were in power. It is clearly how they expect and wish to be treated themself.

1. "Do unto others as you would have them do unto you."
Golden Rule. Yup. So, since they're all perfect Christians, it's clear how they want to be treated. You're right. Heh. Heh. Heh.

2. I look it as an experience for them
to truly understand what it means to be a minority. Now they shouldn't be against rights for everyone since they are experiencing it first hand.

5. I have a great deal of respect for Jesus, but...
the way he overturned those money-lenders tables was counter-productive to his message.

7. Let's set a better precedent for the future.
I prefer not lowering myself to their standards nor do I want my party doing so. I want my party to work with integrity as Pelosi seems determined to do.

10. Was that really Jesus?
I've heard it attributed to Confucius...who lived some 500 years (?) before Jesus.

12. Socrates got the idea as well... in fact if you look in any philosophy
you will find it. Thats because its human nature. We are a learning social species. We are wired to learn from each other. We are also an empathic species in that we internalize the actions and events we observe others partaking in. We cue up to others actions and feel more in touch with them when our actions match theirs.

11. Not as you would treat yourself, as you would treat him.
"What so ever you do to the least of my brothers, that you do unto me." It is the key concept of christianity, I think. Joe

It is a radical thought, though. Not really unique to christians, I think - But should be clearly stated. Joe
