WHat's the price of gas in your area?
Oil prices keep dropping, but I've seen gas prices climb locally.

And when oil was $55/barrel last time (July 2005?), gas was not $
2.29/gallon.

8. $1.99?! I think it's about $2.37 in the Raleigh area,
but I drove in six states over the holidays and the prices have blurred together.

6. North of Boston, depending on brand,
$2.29 to $2.39 a gallon regular. Should be going down, holiday travel is over. Has nothing to do with price of a barrel, methinks.

10. $3.19 per gal.. regular unleaded..
here on Maui... they just re-instituted an .11 per gallon state gas tax as of Jan. 1st... it was $3.09 yesterday, $3.19 today... some of our politicians are talking about repealing the tax, but it's just theatre IMO...

24. AUD1.19 per litre in southeast Queensland Aust.
or about USD3.50 per US gallon. Yesterday morning could have got it for 1.09 per litre but by days end had gone up 10 cents. So you guys still have it pretty good.

Leading up to your last election in November the price here in SE Queensland got down to around $1.00 per litre.

Peace
