There are more important issues than flag burning and besides, there's that whole Freedom of Expression thing...

I doubt they would really do anything, but their emotional attachment to the object over the idea is pathetic.

preparing to make a banquet of hot dogs and hamburgers over the fire of my US flags, I was thinking my liberal thoughts and breathing in fresh air while my bleeding liberal heart beat calmly. I thought about going to work and desecrating the flag while I was there, and then going to a preschool afterwards and teaching young impressionable minds to get their Mommy's Bic lighter off the coffee table, going to the backyard, and then burning a flag above an oildrum. On my way home from that, I could muse about going to a State-Funded University, getting the young adults together, and having a cheery old bonfire of flags, all the while singing songs of overthrowing the US so terrorists could take over.

How about this weekend all of us neighbors have a block party where we roast flags and make 'Smores over them? Because us Liberals all want to burn flags constantly, and if we're not thinking of ways to sink the US economy and help terrorists, then we're busy burning flags.

What about a US Constitution burner? You know that's the oath soldiers take, to defend the US Constitution, not the flag.
