Republican Plan: Drive us insane with constant whining
If you remember, they did it when they were the MAJORITY too.

"Bush only got 95% of his judicial nominees confirmed. We're changing the rules! Waaah!"

"Democrats want to investigate the Iraq War. I thought they were our friends! Waaah!"

"Democrats are obstructionists. Democrats aren't working with us! Waaah!"

Well, they're in the Minority now, so it won't get any better. And, it may seem funny for a couple weeks. Then it will start to get on our nerves, that must be their plan.

2. That's because they can't govern.
They know how to run dirty campaigns to get elected, but they don't know crap about governance.

Shut the hell up, already. You're only demonstrating that the Democrats are indeed the ADULTS IN CHARGE by your petulant, juvenile whining.

3. But the Dems have to be smart enough . . .
To make some form of bipartisanship work or they won't be able to legislate effectively and will get toasted by the electorate in '08.

While I might be in favor of daily turd-tossing at surviving 'Licans in Congress, a goodly percentage of the electorate wants to see the two-party system work again, and legislators behave like adult professionals rather than smug thugs.

Dems will have to be crafty enough to put through an agenda that repairs 12 years of 'Lican venality and foolishness while cozzening them into playing along. It ain't gonna be easy.

4. Yeah, like bitching about not recording a " How I'd vote right now if
I Had to . . . ." Test vote, during talks before a Final Vote.

It's called Negotiating.
