16. Yeah, it's okay. But he has to fly it himself...
according to today's revision of the DU Code of Ethics, he can use the plane, but the crew has been deemed a Flagrant Waste of Funds.

Uhhh...Karl...DemoTex...they sell Gulfstream V Type Rating for Dummies at the local Barnes & Noble, right?

1984 WESTWIND II S/N 425 N328SA Alaska Jet
Bought for the state by our newly-discharged, disgraced, and disgusting ex-Governor Murkowski:

Skinner, you have to promise not to transport any prisoners on it though. That's what Murky claimed he was using it for.........

25. With Murky on it, it was probably less than 6 INCHES!!
Also, can you imagine landing it on a short gravel runway usually used by bush planes like this?

Still, Skinner can have any jet he wants, dammit! :P

28. Get this, karl - (photos, etc.)
Worst repuke governor's stunt of the decade - nobody, even his own lieutenant gov, (we call 'em "lite guvs") wanted this plane bought. Now, yep, the new guv has put it up for sale on EBay....

Da Jet - With For Sale Sign

And now comes this, from the same Republican controlled State that brought you the American taxpayer financed, 250 million Dollar bridge connecting an island of 50 people, NONE OF WHOM OWN CARS:

ANCHORAGE ALASKA: Critics have dubbed it "Bald Ego," "Murky's Turkey" and "Incontinental Airlines," but Alaska Republican Gov. Frank Murkowski finally has the sleek executive jet he says he and other state officials need.

The $2.6 million Westwind aircraft, equipped with a leather sofa, burgundy carpeting and a flush toilet, arrived this week in Anchorage and will replace a no-frills turboprop used by previous Alaska governors for official business.

Critics say Murkowski's jet is unusable in much of rural Alaska, where runways are too short and made of gravel or nonexistent.

SERIES!!111!! this WAS HUGH and a big error by our repuke MORAN governor!

29. He would have been better off with a Pilatus PC-12
The PC-12 has two obvious advantages over the plane Murkowsky bought, even though it's more expensive: its ability to work off gravel runways, and the cargo door in the back. The door is big enough that people load the plane with forklifts, so it should be wide enough to get Murkowsky's swollen head through. AND it's got a lavatory!

Then again...they still make King Airs.
